Tonight the Montreal Canadiens will be hosting the Buffalo Sabres at the Bell Centre, de la Rose will be wearing the number 25 on his back.

Despite being selected 11th overall in the 2013 CHL Import Draft by the Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League, de la Rose chose to continue playing in Europe with a year left on his contract with Leksands IF. Jacob has participated in the IIHF World Junior Ice Hockey Championships three times, taking home silver twice. In 20 games played in the tournament, de la Rose recorded 10 points and was named captain of Team Sweden in the 2015 World Juniors along with being named one of the top three players on the team at the conclusion of the tournament.
