Day eight of the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships only had one game in action which was Switzerland vs. Germany at 7:00pm EST at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. This is game two of the best-of-3 relegation series, where the loser would relegate compete in the Division I World Juniors next year. Coming into this game, Switzerland leads 1-0 in the series which places a lot of pressure on Germany to become victorious or else they would relegate. A loss for Switzerland would only create a game three before the Bronze and Gold medal games on Monday. The loser of this series will be replaced by the 2015 IIIF Division I World Juniors Champions – Belarus, at the 2016 World Juniors in Finland.
